Meet Nathan: The Face Behind Pawkies

If you've visited the site before, you might have noticed something new on the homepage — an actual photo of me! It felt about time to properly introduce myself, so: hello! 👋
Who's behind Pawkies?
I'm Nathan, and Pawkies is me — born and based right here in Dingwall. Pawkies started from a simple love of dogs and a belief that every pup deserves a happy, active day, even when life gets busy for their humans.
When you book a walk with Pawkies, I'm the one who turns up at your door, the one clipping on the lead, and the one your dog drags round the trails for a full hour of sniffs, exercise and fuss. No rotating staff, no strangers — just me, every time. I think that matters: your dog gets to know me, I get to know your dog, and you always know exactly who's looking after them.
The boring-but-important bits
Trust is everything when you're handing over a member of the family, so here's what backs it up:
- Fully insured — proper public liability cover.
- DBS checked — background checked and happy to show you the certificate.
- Canine First Aid trained — so I know what to do if anything ever goes wrong out there.
Why Dingwall?
Because it's home! We're lucky to have brilliant walking right on the doorstep — riverside paths, quiet lanes and plenty of green space for a proper hour of adventure. I currently walk dogs in Dingwall itself, with plans to cover more of the Highlands as Pawkies grows. If you're nearby, here's more about dog walking in Dingwall.
Come and say hello
Whether it's a bouncy puppy or a gentle senior, I'd love to meet your dog. You can book a walk in a couple of taps, or just get in touch for a chat first — no pressure, ever. And if we're already walking together: thank you. Every wagging tail is why Pawkies exists. 🐾
